Distribution & Fulfillment / U.S. Market Entry
U.S. Distribution & Market Entry
Establish U.S. warehousing, receiving, fulfillment and returns for an international product company. Coordinate Shopify and wholesale order handoffs where included in scope.
From requirements to operation
A practical path into the market.
- Define the operating brief
- Map product handling, planned inventory, order profiles, channels, return expectations and launch constraints. Clarify who owns each commercial and regulatory decision.
- Select the handling model
- Evaluate qualified warehouse and fulfillment providers against the requirement. An existing 3PL can remain when it fits; a new facility is not automatically required.
- Prepare stock and order flow
- Coordinate receiving appointments, stock records, channel connections, packaging and dispatch requirements. Confirm the readiness of each provider before launch.
- Manage the live operation
- Review fulfillment, returns and inventory reports. Coordinate provider follow-up, replenishment planning and exceptions within the agreed scope.
Responsibilities
Clear boundaries from the start.
- Physical Goods
- Requirements, provider coordination, implementation and ongoing operating oversight can be included. Exact services, geography, availability and authority are confirmed before engagement.
- Handling providers
- Contracted specialists execute warehousing, fulfillment, freight and other physical handling. Their capacity and facilities are not represented as owned by Physical Goods.
- Your company & qualified advisers
- You retain brand, sales and demand-generation responsibilities. Customs brokerage, import compliance, tax and legal advice remain with qualified specialists; we can coordinate their inputs when agreed.
